Introducing Spirals; neurodiversity assessors and family mediator.

Get accessible and personalised in-person assessments as well as one to one conversations.

As parents and carers it can be incredibly hard to see our loved ones suffer and have no explanation as to why. Often we have our suspicions and often we feel that perhaps we are seeing a different person to the rest of the world.

Spirals believes that our loved ones will often be their true self in their safe space, which is more than likely with you.

Diagnoses can help many people to understand the reason behind the actions of the people that they care about or even why they act the way that they do. It also enables people to put in place strategies and plans so that a diagnosis doesn’t have to impact anyone’s lifestyle and choices.

Spirals doesn’t believe that a diagnosis is a magic wand, it won’t make all the problems disappear, part of our service is to ensure everyone we see is provided with a thorough consultation to understand what they want to achieve through the process and if Spirals is the right place for them.

Spirals feel that a diagnosis should never be a crutch, it should never be the reason people don’t experience life to the fullest.

Part of our pledge to the community is to offer means tested referrals. Therefore, please do email Spirals if you think you could eligible.

Spirals also offer families the opportunity to chat. Or maybe you just feel like you are in a different world. With busy lives often parents and children don’t get the opportunities to talk, alongside the increase of technology from parents and children, like marriages, occasionally we loose connection with those we share our homes with.

Spirals works with parents and children to be that bridge, to open the channel of communication and to facilitate conversations to help, resolved and mend conflict that develops.

Spirals believes that by working with both parents and children it can open a new understanding and tolerance to each others worlds.

Please note that we are not medical practitioners and therefore are not able to advise on, or prescribe, medication.
