Refreshing approach to Autism
Spirals believes everyone should be entitled to health care and mental wellbeing assistance. Often our National Health Service is too over loaded to deal with the demands, which has increase since the Covid 19 pandemic.
Spirals recognises that many people are desperate for answers and referrals are often restricted by waiting lists or financial constraints.
This is why for every private assessment Spirals delivers we will offer a means tested assessment. Spirals will also discuss payment plans.
Spirals also offers it’s services to educational establishments, where assessments are vital to ensure students are placed in the right settings.
Spirals will refer to diagnosis as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) as we believe this is kinder than Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and believe it is less stigmatising.
A Gold Standard
It’s essential for us that clients get personalized attention. Spirals therefore only use The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) gold standard assessment techniques to produce reports. You will be fully consulted through out the process with reports produced quickly.

Initial Assessment
Spirals wants to make sure that we are the right place for you. Before we agree to any further assessments we ask all applicants to complete a pre assessment. Should a full assessment be required this will be deducted from your full assessment total

Assessments
Family Mediation
ASD and ADHD Assessments available.
Observations will be completed at an agreed location, followed up with an in depth interview. Should further information be required contact with other professionals including education may be undertaken.
We can not prescribe or recommend any medication for those assessed to have ADHD, but Spirals is happy to work with other health professionals to discuss findings.
